Some days you have good news, some days you have bad news. Today is a little bit of both. For the past year and a half, Mark Pereira has been bringing his creative writing talents, social media savvy and account service expertise to every project at Satori Marketing. As of September 4th, Mark will be moving on to exciting new opportunities. We are sad to see him go, but know he has a bright and successful future ahead of him.
That’s the bad news. The GREAT news is that we have recently added a new member to our team. Satori Marketing is very excited to welcome Candace “The Whiz” Hudson to our group of marketing mavericks. Candace comes to us from the University of Houston where she worked as a program coordinator, creating designs for all in-house marketing and advertising materials and writing copy for social media campaigns. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing communications, having honed her talents at the Moores School of Music and Fox26.
Why “The Whiz”? A few reasons, the biggest being the cinematic masterpiece “The Wiz,” starring Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow and Diana Ross as Dorothy. Second, Candace is extremely smart – a one-of-a-kind whiz kid, if you will. And third, she is a client service wizard – here to help fulfill your every need.
When she is not dominating the social media and creative scenes, the best way to find Candace is to follow your ears. Candace is a classically trained singer, and sings for her church group every Wednesday and Sunday.
The team at Satori Marketing is beyond excited to have Candace join our special brand of craziness. We think she is going to bring a completely different facet to the work we produce. If you are a client of ours, you’ll probably meet her soon. If you are a fan of Satori Marketing, you’ll start to see her influences in no time.
Welcome aboard, Candace. We warned you.
