According to a very scientific Google search, there are 7.046 billion people in the world. That’s billion with a “b.” Yet, with so many people, we are constantly blown away by how small this world really is.
In a past life, employees of Satori Marketing worked closely with the Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) on several award-winning campaigns. We thought our time with METRO was a thing of the past once we all parted ways and went different directions.
However, as Satori worked tirelessly to get certified as a small business, a woman-owned business, and to register ourselves with the City of Houston and various other agencies, we kept running into people from METRO’s Office of Small Business. We quickly learned that METRO is dedicated to helping small businesses gain government contracts – so dedicated that they attend every single small business event in the city and even organize their own “I’m Certified, Now What?” workshops.
As we continued to develop a relationship with Tiko Reynolds-Hausman, Alexander Sandoval and Kimberly Williams, we quickly noticed the METRO Office of Small Business had a very big need. They needed a way to easily communicate the services they provided with small business owners in Houston. Thankfully, Kim, Tiko and Alexander agreed, and we had a couple of discussions about what exactly that could look like.
Satori Marketing is extremely excited to announce that we are partnering with the METRO Office of Small Business to get them set up on social media. Stay tuned to our blog and our social media outlets to see when they are up and running. It certainly is a small world, after all.
