National Waffle Day came and went here at Satori—well, we made a specialized logo with a delicious waffle replacing the Satori sun, but otherwise it passed as all days pass here at HQ: fast!
I’ve been learning a lot about social media advertising from the boss ladies this week, and we’ve been finding out more ways to ensure our clients get the most reach possible from every platform available. Today, this involved creating a National Waffle Day event, so we can use analytics to show our clients exactly how far that reach extends, how specifically we can target our audience, and how many dollars it all costs. As the main button-clicker for our social media marketing, this was especially interesting for me—particularly as I was the one who got to choose the waffle that became our temporary logo!
Other than breakfast food, it’s been a lot of blog-writing on my part, so I’m learning a ton about all the various industries our clients represent. Plenty of good dinner conversations about real estate, LED lights, and Botox for TMJ! I get to research new things for clients and for our own purposes every day. It’s starting to fall in place, one waffle at a time.

DJ Maestro Jen’s Song of the Week:
Tuneyards is a project of Merrill Garbus, vocalist, percussionist, and ukulele player. This track, from their sophomore album “Whokill,” is one of my favorites, probably because we at Satori are pretty “gangsta,” in a very broad sense of the word. Regardless of street cred, this song’s got a great energy that has kept my fingers a-typing today.
